Speed Maglev is a device using magnetic levitation technology as described by Speed body hanging on the overhead track, driven by the airflow reaction force produced by propeller power drive along the track.It is possible for the maglev to move at high speed because there is no contact friction with the track, avoiding power loss caused by friction.There are two main innovations for this Speed Maglev device:Firstly, the control principle was greatly simplified, from the traditional control of five degrees of freedom to two degrees of freedom control, simplifying the design of the structure on the one hand,on the other hand, making control system easier to achieve and control costs greatly decreased, while improving reliability.Secondly, maglev technology will be combined with the propeller-powered to avoid laying the electromagnetic coil on the rail,thereby fundamentally eliminating the interference problems caused by suspension magnetic field and the driving magnetic field, but also lowering the manufacturing cost.This paper describes the origin and development of magnetic suspension technology,pointing out that magnetic bearing is the typical representative of magnetic suspension technology products,including maglev train in the mobile support typical application field and Magnetic Spindle in the rotating support the typical application.Then briefly describes the structure and control of Speed Maglev device, based on this, the characters of Speed Maglev device are researched,including starting characteristics and moving characteristics,focusing on measuring the starting and running equivalent friction coefficient.And do a detailed analysis with the experimental data,drawing conclusions that in the particular structure and control conditions, the mobile equivalent dynamic friction coefficient of magnetic bearings is greater than static friction coefficient, which is the typical difference between magnetic bearing friction and the traditional friction characteristics.This thesis has done a deep analysis of the changes that the control current change is the root cause of friction characteristics.This paper also has done research for the first time from the control point of view,which may influence the friction characteristics of magnetic bearing.The study indicated that the greater the current fluctuation, the friction is also greater.This is consistent with hysteresis theory and the eddy current loss theory.
