The container crane (shore container crane)works on wharf apron. It is a large lifting equipment specially for Container Ship handling. The container crane is a main lifting equipment on wharf apron. Its working efficiency directly determine the production efficiency of wharf apron. With the continuous progress of science and technology, more and more container crane of high technology content, is moving in large-scale, high-speed, automation and intelligent, and high reliability, long life, low energy consumption, environmentally friendly direction. In recent years, because typhoons,earthquakes and other natural disasters often occur. As a towering structure, the container crane is very sensitive on the impact of the earthquake and wind loads. Because it works on the quay quayside, the large wind area, wind loads of concentration and high center of gravity, it can easily cause resonance, wind-induced disasters accidents. Therefore, to reduce wind-induced vibration damage and the casualties on the container crane structure, it is necessary to make wind design on the container crane. At present, wind resistance research of the container crane still remain in the static stage, very little published literature on it, and wind-induced vibration effect of high-rise structures is often much larger than the static wind effect, Therefore, wind-induced response analysis of the container crane should be given attention.This paper based on the basic theory of wind pressure and wind-induced, probability theory, random vibration theory, structural dynamics theory, and using a powerful mathematical function of Matlab software, Ansys finite element universal software to carry out research work on the single-girder container crane as follows:1) Described the basic concepts of the average wind, turbulent wind, the wind pressure for wind acting on the structure, pulse pressure calculation formula and the probability characteristics of turbulent wind.2) Made a reasonable simplification and assumptions on the container crane, established the finite element model of the container crane, carry out research work about static wind response analysis under normal wind loads under normal work. 3) Described two numerical simulation methods of turbulent wind in detail, that is, harmonic superposition method and the linear filtering method, and based on linear filtering method, using Matlab mathematical software, simula the numerical simulation of turbulent wind on the container crane.4) Make modal analysis of the container crane, using turbulent wind load simulation results, do the wind-induced response analysis of the container crane, and compare the two analysis results.5) Described the wind-induced control and design concepts in detail, and analyzed a variety of damper, and finally according to the principle of wind vibration measures on the container crane,make the container crane analysis of wind-induced control.
