As an important lifting and handling machinery,gantry crane occupies an important position in China's industrial production.Generally speaking,the working environment of gantry crane is in outdoor open-air places,such as ports,railways,mines and so on.In these environments,it is unavoidable to be affected by the wind.Because of the strong fluctuation of the wind,when it acts on the structure of the crane,it will make the crane vibrate,which not only affects the safety of the structure,but also reduces the efficiency of the work.In view of the above problems,this paper takes the "L" gantry crane as the research object,comprehensively uses the finite element method and AR model method to analyze the wind-induced vibration of gantry crane,verifies the safety of the crane structure,and according to the structural characteristics of gantry crane,carries out the design and research of the wind-induced vibration control device,finally achieves the purpose of reducing the vibration response of crane,etc.The research on wind vibration control of gantry crane has certain reference value.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Through some crane accidents caused by wind,the harm of wind load acting on cranes is analyzed.Then the static wind load is applied to the gantry crane.The deformation and stress of the crane structure are analyzed by ANSYS Workbench software,and the safety of horizontal stiffness and allowable stress is verified.(2)The wind load is calculated according to the fluctuating wind load.Firstly,the AR model method is used to simulate the wind speed and pressure time history of fluctuating wind in MATLAB.The modal analysis of the model is carried out in ANSYS Workbench software,and the first 10 natural frequencies and corresponding modes are extracted to verify the dynamic stiffness of the crane.Finally,the vibration response of portal crane under fluctuating wind load is obtained by time history analysis method,and the results are compared with those obtained under static wind load.(3)According to the structure characteristics and working form of gantry crane,through the study of the wind vibration control device,the scheme suitable for the wind vibration control of gantry crane is finally determined,i.e.installing frequency modulated liquid damper(TLD),and then setting the TLD parameters.Finally,the wind vibration control effect of TLD is studied by time history analysis,and the results are compared with those without TLD.Finally,it is concluded that the installation of TLD can effectively control the wind-induced vibration response of the crane,which reduces the maximum stress by 16.3% and the maximum deformation by 16.5%.It shows that the scheme is effective and feasible.
