With the fast development of socioeconomic and urbanization process inChina, more and more mega-high-rise buildings emerge in the cities. Themega-frame construction is born right at this trend. This structure has the advantageof good integrity, clear in load carrying capacity and fast construction. This papercarries out the finite element time-history analysis for the mega-frame dampingstructure, such as add a vibration isolating support at the sub frame of themega-frame so as to realize the purpose of reducing wind-induced response for thestructure under the fluctuating wind. This paper introduces the vibration control principle of the structure and themechanical property of vibration isolating support. And at the same time, itelaborates the characteristics of natural wind and the structure downwind loadcalculation theory, and then simulates the fluctuating wind by the MATLABprogram combined with the high-rise building wind engineering theory. It alsosurvey the stimulation by wind spectra verification. SAP2000to carry out a flexiblewind-induced vibration time-history analysis for a mega-frame with five floors ofmain frame and four floors of mega frame. The paper analyzes the change in the displacement and acceleration of themega-frame anti-seismic structure and the mega-frame damping structure underdifferent tuning ratio and damping ratio. It can be seen from this case that themega-frames have a best tuning ratio and a damping ratio respectively. Thewind-induced response of natural vibration period, displacement, base shear, acceleration of the anti-seismic structure and the damping structure under thefluctuating wind can be obtained through the finite element software simulationanalysis. The paper will carry out the comparative analysis for the above-mentionedresponse results and hope can provide some references for the engineering design. It can be seen from the result: the vibration isolating support can remarkablyimprove the mechanical behavior of the mega-frame and noticeably reduce thewind-induced response for the anti-seismic structure of mega-frame, It seems thatvibration isolating technology has broad research prospects and application spacein the field of mega-frame design and construction.
