The abbreviation of BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for BMS, English all MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, is called a few in recent years a very hot research systems, BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is to connect the BATTERY and electric cars and electric vehicles and the important link between users, can saying is the core part is BATTERY systems. In simple terms, the battery management system is mainly in charge of the battery in the process of dynamic monitoring, according to the state of the battery to collect all of the information, such as current, voltage, temperature, etc, to estimate the residual capacity battery to judge the battery state of making further at this time, processes such as electricity shortage to charge; Battery capacity full stop charging.Battery management system to accomplish the most important task is to estimate the residual capacity battery, the battery residual capacity to estimate there are many methods, this paper USES is kalman filter residual capacity of the battery are calculated. This method is based on the collected battery dynamic parameters, to build battery model, and the second-order RC kalman filtering algorithm to calculate the SOC battery. This method will put the battery as a dynamic system, battery SOC value just system of a variable. The system has the output variables and input variables, input variables have current and temperature, the output variables for voltage. This method is the most widely used methods, because it applies to any battery charging and discharging current fluctuations big car batteries.This paper is based on DSP battery management system, this paper mainly is to complete the following job:at first battery management system hardware circuit design. According to the battery management system to realize the function of the main design, hardware the DSP minimal systems, battery voltage acquisition circuit, battery electric current acquisition circuit, battery temperature gathering electriccircuit, environmental temperature gathering electriccircuit, second-order filter and sampling keep circuit, CAN communication circuit and display circuit; Then according to various acquisition circuit collection to all kinds of information, the battery kalman filter residual capacity of the battery, it is concluded that this estimate the SOC value, as batteries battery run state basis for judging; The last is the design of software components, mainly design main program, battery information acquisition procedure block, EEPROM literacy subroutine, battery state detection subroutine, CAN send subroutines and interrupt service procedure, etc.
