Dry-type transformers have been widely used in electric power system owning to its outstanding advantages:safe reliability, non-pollution, simple maintenance etc. As the market demand increased, design and manufacture of dry-type transformers has attracted more and more attention of transformer factory. Calculation of electric field and magnetic field play a decisive role in the transformer design, analyzing the internal electromagnetic field of dry-type transformer quickly and effectively has become a problem that the transformer plant must face. The precise analysis of the electromagnetic field in dry-type transformer is significant for dry-type transformer's optimum design, enhancing economic performance indicators and developing new dry-type transformers with high voltage and large capacity.In this paper, the main insulation electric field, distributed capacity and leakage magnetic field of a lOkV resin molded transformer were calculated by ANSYS software. At first, through massive analysis computation, the main insulation structure electric field distribution and relational curve between the insulation structure size and the maximum electric field intensity were obtained. Then the method for calculating distributed capacity parameters of transformer winding was studied embarked from the project application angle. Finally, the steady state leakage magnetic field and zero-sequence impedance were calculated.In order to achieve parametric finite element analysis, the command-line program based upon ANSYS parametric design language is applied in the finite element analysis of electric field, distributed capacity and leakage magnetic field calculation procedure. The calculating procedure can not only modify the model scale and various parameters easily but also control accuracy of meshing automatically. So the efficiency of calculation is greatly raised and the computation is reduced.The research work of this thesis has significant engineering value to dry-type transformer's design.
