With the continuous improvement of wind generation technique and the increasing of generation capacity, Variable Speed Constant Frequency Doubly Fed Generation has become a hot research issue all around the world. To do research on the the wind generator, most of them are simulated in PSCAD or Matlab. In this paper, through programming, the test software of ventilator instrument, the model of the frequency converter is simplified. Moreover the reference calculation of field current and pitch angle are applied in the control units, which make the wind generator model more developed. The transfer function of control system is given in this paper, with other parts of the wind generation system together build a set of differential-algebraic equations, using improved Euler method to solve the equations. Four stage of the generation is simulated, are respectively cutting in control with no load, maximum wind-energy tracing control, constant speed control and constant power control, the simulation results accord with the control target in the four areas.Based on the proposed model, with pitch yaw control supplemented, using the vane-hill climbing algorithm, three cases of adverse and favorable direction of wind and the wind speed changing are simulated,the simulation results prove the impeller could aim at the wind.
