Sherfar dam heightening and strengthening engineering,in Algeria,is the first prestressed anchor engineering of the world. Along with the development of the prestressed anchorage te-chnology and perfection of relevant rules,the application of prestressed tendons,to the emerg-ency eliminating and dam strengthening work,can solve the following questions:improving the stability against sliding of dam base,strengthening the body crack of dam or local damage,res-istance on buoyancy,reducing tensile stress of dam heel,enhancing the overall stability,and so on.Considering the wide application and development potential of the prestressed anchor te-chnique in hydro-structure, this text studys the basic theory of the prestressed anchorage tech-nology and explores numerical simulation method of prestressed anchor.Combining with the engineering and example, through the application of finite difference method,single anchor and group anchorages, are simulated and researched. When simulating,it utilizes the modeling and meshing to complex modeling function of ANSYS and mature application in the aspects of prestressing anchor of FLAC3D,to simulate Long Wangtang dam prestressing anchor engi-neering.Then it studies the reinforcement effect and influence of the application of prestressed anchors group to the high homogeneous dam, so improve the dam body and the dam heel stre-ss condition,and also can optimize the design of dam section.
