Rapid prototyping (RP) is a kind of high-new technology applied on manufacture developed in'recent years, which is competitively researched in universities, institutes, and corporations as well. In this paper, the basic situation and development trend is introduced first. However, the expensive prime cost of raw material restrains the promotion of rapid prototyping. In order to accelerate the spread speed of RP, we change the experimental material to cut down the experimental cost, and that is the object of this research topic.The traditional RP adopted photosensitive resin, thermoplastic, distinctive paper, paraffin, phenolic resin plastic and mental, etc. Not only the production cost was high, but also these material was hard to degradation, which was harm to environment. This experiment designed a method to fused deposition rapid prototyping based on wood flour, relied on support of the timber dominate of Northeast Forestry University, which gave a type of economically and feasible advantaged material.Nozzle is a key component of forming experiment, Immediate influence to experiment quality. This topic first has carried on the design to the nozzle, introduction How to control the nozzle temperature.and than carried on the analysis to the nozzle, confirmed the design is rationality.The issue is carried out with wood plastic mixed powder unshaped experiment and corresponding shaped experiment mechanical design. Melting deposited experiment requires the sprinkler to execute 3-dimensional motion. Choose proper lift to design a 3-dimesional controllable shaped working table according to the experiment requirements. Screw and gear are checked at the meantime, wire feeding mechanism for two wheel drive is designed, variables optimization of wire feeding mechanism drive wheels are made to satisfy the experiment requires. Against the wood plastic materials in the particularity, Design of the drive wheel of silk, Driving wheel on the wire feeder to optimize the parameters, To meet the test requirements. Extruder is one of the critical equipments, the variables of screw pump will affect experimental results, so the choice of screw pump is also an important section in this paper..The temperature of experiment is required more highly for the particularity of plastic wood material. The temperature control system for nozzle has been designed based on assemble language, to ensure the control of experiment temperature. Three of the molten material in the table to simulate the cooling process to ensure the material in the molding, the upper layer of parts will not collapse.Finally, the preparation of experimental materials.and process has been introduced. The performances of parts have been test in hardness, tensile strength, impact strength and flexural strength. The experimental results show that mechanical properties of the rapid melting plastic molded parts is stronger than wood laser sintering parts, but the forming precision of experimental part need to be improved, as well as post-processing methods.
