Rapid prototyping has become an important part of the advance manufacturing technology in 1980s. Rapid prototyping benefits are well established. Especially, Complex prototype parts can be quickly produced at low cost.This study presents mostly two ways: one is precision factor of Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) is study and the 4-hole 12° oxygen lance spray head prototype is manufactured in the laminated object manufacturing process. The other is design a special process to get whole precision foundry technology of 12° the oxygen lance spray head's copper part by combining LOM with precision foundry.Precision factor of LOM contains: (1) Date processing produce the error. About that, this paper considers to adopt direct slicing within CAD system. (2)Step phenomenon is produced by slicing. For diminishing step error, this paper think decreasing paper layer thickness and controlling laser set are feasible method. (3) Precision is influenced by the adhesive thickness. The mainly factor of adhesive shape change is the adhesive stress(s), adhesive temperature (θ), Adhesive viscosity (η,K_η), paper osmosis (A). This paper applies means for adhesive thickness evenly distributing. For example, hot roller is divided into a few segments, and hot roller contact radian with paper layer is adjusted, and lesser fluxion activation of adhesive viscosity is selected.During the LOM process, that the warping is caused by intra-laminar forces at the layer interfaces. The main reason is the unevenly distributed temperature in the laminate thickness direction. Therefore, the cause of warping is considered in this study to be the compressive intra-laminar thermal force induced by the mismatch of the thermal deformation between layers. Base on the analyses of temperature and intra-laminar thermal force between layers, we can get that the compressive intra-laminar thermal force relates with laminar material properties, processing parameters, and the thermal-mechanical behavior of the adhesive viscosity in the LOM processing. This paper applies means for diminishing the warping. For example, new material and gelatinize, optimizing processing parameters, improving deal with and recovery distortion amend method.Base on the study of LOM precision factor, this paper adopt to method that is optimize technologic parameter method and the 4-hole 12° oxygen lance spray head prototype is manufactured by LOM. Afterward, rapid tooling of 12° the oxygen lance spray head is studied. Because the four spray pipe of 4-hole 12° oxygen lance spray head are detached, hole is formed between the four spray pipe and pedestal. It made whole precision foundry 12° the oxygen lance spray head' s copper part become much difficulty. Base on the characteristic of 12° the oxygen lance spray head, special processing is project. Technologic course is, prototype- mould of wax pattern - wax pattern -precision foundry-metal part. Mould of wax pattern is the key of technologic course. The key of technologic is fission wax pattern is manufacture and combined.
