Economic boom to the crane, designed to bring a higher level of development requirements, the use of the new design of the crane business has become the primary means of enhancing competitiveness and ways. This recent development from the present situation of the crane to crane trolley traveling mechanism design as an example, the parametric design technology, modular design technology and other modern design methods applied in the crane industry, the final design is completed the bridge crane car run institutions parametric design system and an application example.Thesis completed as follows:(1) Crane industry in the development of comparative analysis, based on the run to the car body, for example, with crane design manual and other related books, and their design methods are discussed.(2)Combined with modern design and database management technology, further development and technology is proposed based on parametric, modular car movement of the parametric design systems research methods.(3) To SolidWorks as the development platform used in running organizations parts, standard parts for the parametric modeling. Draft assembly of components used in space technology assembly more convenient location and reasonable use of series of parts built up parts make table more user-friendly configuration and inspection.(4) The use of object-oriented visual programming language Visual Basic6.0 design and development of the bridge crane trolley of the parametric design system. The system can effectively perform the operation command, to include design calculations, including data read and stored, parts selection and check and other functions. Through examples that the system can stabilize the operation, reduce product design cycle.
