| At present, the Crown Gear Coupling enterprises have had relatively stable products. Their daily design is modified from the same model products. In order to shorten development cycle and save design cost, enterprises urgently need to achieve rapid product design,and fast drawing of engineering drawing and three-dimensional entity model by using computer technology. Based on the SQL Server database and the secondary development technology of AutoCAD and SolidWorks, the study to key technology of customer-oriented crown gear coupling rapid design platform is carried on to generate a set of engineering drawings and more accurate product models quickly.First, in accordance with the design requirements of enterprises, the paper analyzes the development needs of crown gear coupling rapid design platform and advances its overall framework.Based on the Unified Modeling Language(UML), the static and dynamic modeling are made for crown gear coupling rapid design platform and the key technology in development of system are studied in detail, mainly includes the parametric method of crown gear coupling, the driving mechanism of parameters and the building method of crown gear profile.According to the design requirements of crown gear coupling rapid design platform, the E-R model of product data object and the structure of database are established.The database of platform is designed in details by using SQL Server.Finally, by using Visual Basic 6.0 ActiveX Automation technology and SQL Server database technology, the main functional modules of crown gear coupling rapid design platform are developed and its application example is presented.The platform has been successfully applied in enterprise.The application shows that the plaform is convenient for operation, so designers could rapidly complete the design of parts and assembly of crown gear coupling as required, greatly reducing the labor intensity of designer and improving design quality and efficiency. |
