Mechanical analysis is not directly examine the entire phenomenon of the real structure itself, but by scientific abstract and reasonable simplified, omitting the secondary factor, showing its basic characteristics, using a simplified graphic instead of the actual structure, this graph called mechanical model also as known as calculation diagram. Based on mechanical model, according to the corresponding mechanics and physical principles that established the mathematical structure of each volume between acting on the structure of external forces and mechanical response relationship called structure calculation model.This article first with a frame structure as an example, which study for each earthquake calculation method corresponding to a structural model, analysis of these types of model-rigid calculate model, single-particle elastic model, multi-particle layer shear model, member system model and finite element model in the calculation of the respective features and applicable scope for seismic effects. In the seismic design, according to different requirements select a suitable model, in order to achieve the best effect.For each actual structure is concerned starting from whole tend to consider structure stress. But for some complex structure (Expo Cultural Center steel roof truss as an example), because of the great influence between superstructure and substructure, when analysis of the structure, it needs to be on the superstructure and substructure are considered separately and combined for overall consideration, reasonably come to the structural system. Chapter 3 of this article selected a few typical structures and components, from the nodes, bearing, material properties and other factors affecting the structure of the internal force are compared, carried out different structure internal forces under the different choice of various factors. In this chapter, through the comparison of several structures internal force difference between the overall and the local analysis carried out the different reasons for these results.Due to cross beam system complex load transfer mode makes its stress is not clear, and is often calculated its internal force by simplifying to the primary and secondary beam structure. Chapter 4 in this paper selected a relatively cross beam system to analyze and carry out that only the stiffness ratio of beam within the error range in the project, the cross beams can be simplify to primary and secondary beam is calculated.
