With the rapid economic development of our country, accelerating urbanization, the urban noise pollution for environment in residence and dwelling district is increasingly serious. How to improve and enhance the acoustic environment of residence and dwelling district has become the important component in realizing sustainable development of residence and dwelling district. For residence and dwelling district, acoustic environment is an important part of the residential environment. It includes two aspects: residential interior acoustic environment and dwelling district acoustic environment.This thesis directed towards the current situation and existing problems of acoustic environment in Handan residence and dwelling district, and systematically analyses the measures and technical methods in improving and increasing acoustic environmental quality of Handan residence and dwelling district. In the paper, it proposes to establish evaluation system and index linked to acoustic environmental quality of residence and dwelling district, and summarizes the general methods in improving acoustic environmental quality of residence and dwelling district. It emphasizes that we should solve acoustic environmental problems of residence and dwelling district through different aspects, such as: administrative management, planning management, construction management and evaluation supervision and so on, and Relatively systematically introduces the specific measures to safeguard residential sound environment whose faced street. Key researches linked to approaches and methods in improving residential interior acoustic environmental, and systematically post the specific technical measures in improving sound insulation performance of residential interior wall and floor.
