In dry water-lack region, subgrade pressure practical water became the important restriction factor of highway construction, the purpose of this article is on the existing entity engineering and research basis, through the indoor and outdoor tests, system analysis gravel soil subgrade compaction suited for all kinds of conditions and construction technology, in order to minimize engineering water, subgrade soil can be compacted in dry state.Through researching gravel soil of different powder viscous grain containing quantity compaction characteristic, natural sandy gravel had dry soil compaction result in the wide scope of powder viscous grain containing 6.9%~26.9%,so it is very helpful in choosing the yard.when Gravel soil maximum dry density were sured, choosing heavy compaction and vibration compaction viscous grain content boundary of the powder 12%,thai wave index n value for 0.4 boundary; drawing maximum dry density of corresponding n value, recommend suitable for xinjiang gravel soil graded range.testing with different grades of load on different moisture gravel soils, discovery of gravel soil settlement rate was very small In dry and optimum moisture state, and the mostly settlement has been completed in begaining loading.Using ODS method to determine gravel soils resonance frequency range, the authors found resonant frequency increasing as the compaction degree increased. Therefore, in the construction practice, the frequency should undertake the necessary adjustments. Simulation vibration dry compaction experimental results show that:to improve the amplitude or dynamic load can effectively improve roller compaction effect, but only increasing the static load can't improve roller compaction effect greatly;When Sd/Ss was one,dynamic compaction effect is best. Compaction thickness with a reasonable range, too thin too thick pcis compaction effect increased.Through experimental road construction, researching compaction and thickness in the influence of compaction degree, experiment sections strength testing and effect of observation,finally we draw reasonable dry compaction technology.
