With the economic and social development, the world energy contradiction is increasingly prominent. In view of wind energy is safe, clean, abundant, and stable, the use of wind energy will effectively ease the contradiction between supply and demand of resources. What's more, it will also reduce the level of environmental pollution. In recent years, investment and research in wind power has entered into a new stage of development. Scholar's researches have focused on how to improve the mechanical efficiency and mechanical life of wind energy. Some scholars have proposed various efficient algorithms and control strategies of wind generators, but their research has focused on grid control, blade control and generator control, yaw control remains to be further in-depth study.The wind turbine yaw control system is made of the active and passive wind yaw wind system. On the one hand, active systems are used for large-scale wind and grid-connected wind generator system. That is, when the wind direction changes, the system can control the wind turbine rotor's rotation speed actively according to vane signals. On the other hand, passive wind systems are used for small, independent wind power systems. And this system is usually controlled by the rudder, when the wind direction changes, it can face the wind.passively. But when the wind speed is too fast, the system must stop generating electricity in order to ensure that the generator will not be burned. Thus, the study of the yaw control system is of theoretical and practical significance.In view of this situation, the paper is based on the 300w-wind generator. Simulation and simulated experiments have been taken with the help of Programmable controller. The method is when the wind direction and wind turbine axle line deviation occurs when the wind instrument can be sent signals delivered to the programmable controller for analysis. Programmable controller can adjust wind turbine rotor to the appropriate location and wind direction. Rudder is no longer necessary to find the wind direction. Thus, when the wind speed is fast, generators can be adjusted to the appropriate location to generate electricity under the premise of the generators not burned.The rudder control system is also able to get rid of the defects, thereby promoting development from the off-grid wind turbine generators to the grid and medium-sized grid generators.
