As an important part of a bridge driving system, the asphalt concrete deck pavement layer plays an irreplaceable role in the aspect of easing the traffic load to the bridge deck's impact, protecting the structure safety of the bridge, travelling smoothly and reducing noise. According to highway project situation of Ankang to Shaanxi and Sichuan confine, this paper puts forward a water damage problem of the concrete bridge deck pavement layer and does a systematic study for the bridge deck water-proof through investigation & analysis and related laboratory tests.Firstl, through collecting the related data of domestic and foreign concrete bridge deck, analyzes and summarizes the existing research findings, and confirms the research contents, methods and technical ways of this paper. Second, through analysis and research on water damage reasons, this paper puts forward the target void volume and site void volume which have a good waterproof quality and are suitable for asphalt mixture material. Moreover, through carrying out the indoor simulation experiment to water-proof adhesive material used in the cement deck pavement, analyzes its performance on the road and chooses a better water-proof adhesive material. Lastly, through laboratory test to analyses the impervious performance and compression resistance of concrete water-proof material, and then recommend a water-proof material which possesses a good waterproof performance and compression performance.The results of the study show that, control the asphalt mixture of water seepage of coefficient and critical gap rate can better prevention bridge deck asphalt mixture surfacing of water damage; Waterproof material type, test temperature, vertical load cut performance against and tensile properties have significant influence on the vertical load, and shear strength in a linear relationship. Comprehensive analysis of several waterproof material selection of the road with properties, recommends the SBS modified asphalt waterproof glue as materials; Cement concrete seepage water resistance and the compressive strength of the experiment showed that the polypropylene fiber concrete to have very good anti-permeability strength and compressive strength.
