Study On Technique Of Treatment About Epoxy Emulsified Asphalt For Tack Coat

The pros and cons of interlayer is an important factor affecting the pavement life。If thebonding between the layers is bad, it will affect the integrity of the pavement structure andweaken the overall resistance of the pavement structure, reducing the service life of thepavement structure. To have strcture capacity and durability, the pavement must have a strongcohesive force. Therefore, the epoxy emulsified asphalt is used for adhesive material. Appliedresearch wsa carried out in the three structures: the asphalt pavement layer of asphaltpavement, concrete bridge deck and the old cement concrete pavement asphalt overlay.First the performances of the new material epoxy emulsified asphalt wsa studied. Reachemulsification mechanism and modification mechanism of epoxy emulsified asphalt Theratioes of emulsified asphalt were determined through orthogonal experiment,as a means oftto determine the adhesive layer applied to the asphalt pavement, bridge deck overlay and theold cement concrete pavement laid asphalt surface layer of stress-absorbing layer of epoxy.The bond properties of the epoxy emulsified asphalt was carried out. Shear test andpullout test as the main test method, the optimum amount and shear strength and pulloutstrength of epoxy emulsified asphalt were determainid for asphalt pavement sticky layer,cement doncrete bridge deck overlay and the old cement concrete pavement overlay asphaltsurface layer of stress-absorbing layer. That the use of epoxy emulsified asphalt pavementstructure can meet the interlaminar shear stress and drawing force requirements. In addition,when study epoxy emulsified asphalt for the old cement concrete pavement asphalt surfacestress-absorbing layer, the composite beam fatigue test tested epoxy emulsified asphalt in thestress-absorbing layer.The results showed that epoxy emulsifying asphalt stress-absorbinglayer has the ability to delay reflective cracking.Through the test section construction technology and construction of epoxy emulsionasphalt and use effect is studied, the test results has reached the expected requirement, Epoxyemulsified asphalt as a new type of sticky material can meet the requirements of treatmentbetween the layers.
