This paper based on the analysis of the statues of Xi'an architecture and renewable energy, respectively from the perspective of technology and economic benefit, has studied the renewable energy's applications in Xi'an Architecture through two entity projects. The specific content of this paper is as follows:(1) The paper has summed up the survey of Xi'an and the statues of Xi'an architecture firstly through abundant existing date and analysis, and then concluded the conditions and advantages of using renewable energy, such as solar energy, shallow geothermal energy and so on.(2) Combining Xi'an "City Gate" project, from the perspective of ground source heat pump arrangement, key equipment, key technologies of construction and so on, it has introduced in detail the technical solutions of shallow geothermal energy's applications in the buildings through simulation, and has analyzed the economic and social benefit.(3) Combining the lagerstroemia fashion (formerly known as Hen Li Yuan)residential communities project of Xi'an, from the perspective of solar power system design, heat collector area, auxiliary equipment and so on, it has introduced in detail the technical solutions of solar energy's applications in the buildings, and has analyzed the economic and social benefit.Engineering practice shows that the results of this research can provide a basis for renewable energy's applications in the buildings, but also can provide design and construction experience for the subsequent similar projects, so they have great promotional value.
