The earthquake hazard zonation could provide the fundamental basis for the ground programming, rational use of the ground, appropriate anti-seismic fortification criterion and engineering aseismatic design, earthquake disaster prevention planning and countermeasures .In this paper, Hang Zhou target area earthquake hazard zonation is base on a amount of drills and soil test data in Hang Zhou.(1) Earthquake hazard zonation is not only using SPT on assessing sandy soil liquefaction, but also using shear wave velocity. The paper has made a detailed sub-district map of liquefaction and the liquefacient soil layer contour map.(2) Drills'characteristic cycle of response spectrum is calculated and through its results the division map of the ground is made .(3) In particular area, seismic subsidence prediction of the drills on soft soil is calculated.(4)The problem that surface rupture caused by the earthquake fault and earthquake landslides do not exist in target area. The result of earthquake damage prediction in the zonation can be used as the preparation of the regional earthquake disaster mitigation planning and urban development planning . Under certain conditions, if the result is approved , it could applies to project within the target area of the earthquake-proof construction projects .
