Research On Design Strategy Of Outdoor Environment Adapted To Environmental Cognition

Housing is the foundation of human survival and development, outdoor environment as a venue for human settlements activities, is the organic system of interaction between people and people, people and the environment. Outdoor environment is one of the most easily perceived in the life of the part of the living environment of specific figurative expression.With the China's rapid urbanization, residential building is also advancing rapidly. However, a large number of outdoor environment and landscape planning and design principles and practices, overlook the design is based on people, from human cognition and reaction, but it should be people-oriented design. Although environmental cognition is a psychological problem, but it and the physical environment are closely connected. We should to build a bridge across disciplines in the outdoor environment between the environmental planning and environmental psychology, research of give a good understanding of the residential area to provide outdoor environmental planning and design strategies easily to human nature more conducive to the construction of residential areas to realize the harmonious development of man and the environment.If the environment can interact harmoniously with people, depends on the environment can give people a good cognition or not. Environmental cognition requirements for the outdoor environment are reflected in three dimensions: sensory perception, time-space perception and cultural perception. In the visual and other sensory perceptions, the environmental landscape to meet all the residents feel comfortable experience; in time -space perception, the space environment to meet people's sense of security, communication sense and can imagery; in the cultural perception in human environment to meet the residents of the community of self -realization.Based on environmental cognition of the outdoor environment requirements, from the comfort, security, can imagery, communication sense, self-realization of these five dimensions, puts forward the design strategy respectively: comfort level, from the comfort of perception and behavior of the two aspects of comfort, always expect the perception of outdoor living areas comfortable and to provide friendly walking environment, full of selective behavior of facilities meeting the needs of the behavior place; security level, the required area-level control, light environmental control, road traffic control, and make space for people's attention in the under; can imagery level, aspects of outdoor environment required to have personal, geographical and cultural characteristics to promote the residents understand the residential area of the space environment; communication sense level, communication, behavior and psychological make consistent contact and communication means to create places; and the level of self-realization, they have by way of public participation to meet.
