Falsework is a kind of widely used temporary structure. At present, frame tubular steel falsework structure, coupler tubular steel falsework structure and upside down bowl-type falsework are widely used in our country. With the changes of architectural form, high and large falsework structure becomes more extensive used. As a temporary structure, how to research the falsework structure has not caused great attention in a long time and the design theory is immature. Because of this, a quarter of construction accidents are caused by the failure of the falsework, causing enormous loss of people and property.In this paper, finite analysis software ANSYS is used to establish the calculation models of the falsework structure. The falsework structure system is researched by comparing the ultimate loads of different falseworks. The main content is as following:1.Using finite analysis software ANSYS to establish reasonable models of the falseworks, and verifying the validity of the models.2.Analyzing the instability mode and the effect of the bracing in the falsework structure.3.Researching the reasonable bracing erection method of such falseworks by theoretical calculation. That means comparing the ultimate loads of falseworks which with a given span but different bracing, then the reasonable bracing erection method of such falsework can be studied.The results show that the ultimate bearing capacity of falsework structure is related to the instability modes which is determined by the bracing erection method .The ultimate bearing capacity of falsework structure can be improved by using different bracing erection method. This paper can play a guiding role in the construction management, and provide a theoretical basis for the next amendment of codes. Besides, this paper can also provide some ideas and methods for the following research.
