Building which has pre-cast concrete external wall panels is a new kind of structure, with advantage of good construction speed, beautiful facade, reducing energy consumption, protecting the environment and good waterproof effect. In the building with pre-cast concrete external wall panels, pre-cast concrete external wall panels are linked with the casting frame beams though the steels which are reserved at the top of the panels, and are also connected with the frame columns in the same way. So the external wall panels are connected firmly with the frame beams and columns. The structure with pre-cast concrete external wall panels is different from frame structure and frame shear wall structure. In this paper, analysis about the static performance and seismic performance of the structure with external wall panels are done and the researches on the performance of external wall panels are made.According to the function of reducing weight and good insulation about external wall panels, lightweight aggregate concrete which satisfying the design requirement are made under meeting the economic and technical conditions, by the fresh concrete test and the understanding the factor of affecting the performance of the lightweight aggregate concrete. The Compressive strength of the lightweight aggregate concrete made by the test is 36.3 MPa, and the density of the concrete is 1420 kg/m3. The external wall panels using the lightweight aggregate concrete can satisfy the application requirement.After the preparation of the lightweight aggregate concrete and the production of the wall panels, the static performance analysis of the structure with pre-cast lightweight aggregate concrete wall panels will be completed, and the internal force distribution of structure will be researched under the conditions of vertical dead loads, vertical live load and level wind load. The axis of the lightweight aggregate concrete external wall panels doesn't coincide with the axis of frame structure. The external wall panel style is different from the in-filled wall style widely used in frame structure. So in the process of analyzing the structure, to research the influence on the internal force distribution resulting from offset effect between the external wall panel axis and the structure axis, the structure models with external wall panels and with embedded wall panels are made separately.The modal analyses are completed about the frame structure with external wall panels and embedded wall panels, and the researches about the seismic performance of the structures are made by the method of response spectrum. The layer shear, layer displacement, layer stiff, overturning moment, internal forces of beams and columns and stress of wall panels of two structures under horizontal seismic action are analyzed and compared. At last, the conclusion about the influence on the seismic performance with offset effect between the external wall panels and the structure axis can be acquired.
