By analyzing the differences of phosphorous slag gradation, particle size and other physical properties and mineral composition, study on the mechanical property, thermal property and durability of large dosage single-doped phosphorous slag concrete and slag with fly ash concrete was taken, and also the comparison of all the properties was made with the non-admixture concrete and the same dosage of fly ash concrete.According to the results of orthogonal test, the better conditions of phosphorous slag was selected for GuanDi hydropower station. The phosphorous slag which is stacked less than 180 days, processed by ball-milling, and the specific surface which is more than 300m~2/kg is suitable for hydraulic concrete admixture. Compared with fly ash cement which has the same dosage of admixture, the hydration heat of phosphorous slag and mixed cement is much lower. The problems such as slow-development of the initial strength, low strength and large shrinkage strain of self-grown volume deformation can be improved by use of phosphorus slag and fly ash for concrete admixture, and also the admixture is in favor of the design for long-age hydraulic concrete As an ideal supplementary cementing material of cement concrete, phosphorous slag can prepare better-property concrete, so it can substitute fly ash as the admixture of GuanDi hydropower station concrete under obvious contradiction between apply and supply.
