In recent years, more and more relevant research is focused on fibrous plasterboard. However, these studies are based on load-carrying capability and earthquake resistance performance of fibrous plasterboard applied to bearing structure. Corresponding research based on fibrous plasterboard as maintenance structure has not been studied.Due to limitations of condtions ,two kinds of fibrous plasterboard are simulated test based on ANSYS finite element software,. And then, study ductility strength and energy consumption of non-structural fibrous plasterboard under cyclic lateral loading. And also, study dependability of node of non-structural fibrous plasterboard under cyclic lateral loading. Through comparative analysis of three specimens, we study the impact for the structure when increasing the fibrous plasterboard.Through analysis of research we concluded: Resistance performance of two specimens can satisfy the requirements for the non-structural components. Nodes of two specimens are reliable. Two specimens of non-structural fibrous plasterboard can make certain effect on the structure,but the effect is limited.The earthquake resistance performance and dependability of node of the eaves type are better than built-in type.
