With the development of The Times, the productivity has been greatly improved in our country. characteristics of aspects such as rich and obvious function, unique and innovative shape, people’s pursuit for high-rise building changed a lot. When architects look after unique architectural appearance, however, to our structure engineer, it has brought about many problems. In actual engineering, more and more complex structure and transfinite structure have sprung up in recent years, which is often associated with transfinite of height, irregular plane arrangement, irregular vertical arrangement or irregular reverse.It brings about a series of inconvenience of the structural’s design. At the same time, for this kind of "unique",it’smore essential to make the building’s aseismic research. Therefore, this article selects the engineering example, make a conclusion after simulation analysis with the use of software.This article is based on a transfinite high-rise office building in jiujiang, after some basic design of the project are introduced, we design and make the overall analysis, elastic time history analysis and static elastoplastic analysis of the structure model with the method which is based on the performance-based analysis. Therefore, we can judge whether the analysis is reliable or not and puts forward some corresponding technical measures. On this basis, we change the eccentricity of structure through changing the location of shear wall in the podium building and model three other structure which differ from the location of the sheer wall, aiming at knowhow the eccentricity influence the structure. Thus concluded that the change of the eccentricity to the seismic performance of the structure is greatly affected,embodie in such as the largest interlayer displacement storey displacement Angle of structure, development of floor stress, performance and plastic hinge and so on.
