The study of a 50kWp residential rooftop solar photovoltaic power system, which will be operated on the Binhai International residential area located in the central region of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, is described. The solar photovoltaic power generation system board is installed on the roof of three 6-layer houses. The electrical energy is transmited through the laying of the power transmission line to the basement of the power distribution room, where DC power supply is converted to AC power. Then the AC power is allocated to the ountain landscape, green water supply pumps, office and basement garage lighting. By taking into account non-sunshine hours of load operation, the battery for night and cloudy weather lighting is set to provide energy. Total system design capacity is 50.4kWp. The conformity with the relevant policy is considered in the design in order to apply for subsidies from government.The concept and design, equipment, introduction and selection, installation and economic analysis of the system are carefully investigated. Considered the characteristics of real estate projects and combined with the advanced technical experience and market mature products, the application of solar energy in the green estate field to promote low carbon building is explored. The important problems such as the ratio of function and price, applicable field and execution program are also studied.Limited by the project schedule, the system is still in the stage of research. To implement in practice, the feasibility, reasonableness, and further details need to be resolved. It is believed that with low-carbon environment and green energy concept deepening, the development of high performance solar photovoltaic power generation system will be applied in all aspects of people life to improve our material and spiritual quality in the near future.
