In this paper,we designed and built a steady state solar simulator for solar photovoltaic generation experiment. We studied the cooling effect of solar panels except the influence of outdoor weather factors. The author designs a cooling coil attached to the solar photovoltaic panels, which aims to reduce the temperature of the photovoltaic panels, because the increase of the temperature of the photovoltaic panels caused by high temperature, and then affect the power generation performance degradation. In the experiment, the solar simulator is used to simulate the change of the solar irradiance source, and the characteristics of the power generation of the PV panel with the temperature rise and temperature drop of the layout are carried out under different illuminance conditions. The main contents of this paper can be divided into the following parts:The first part summarizes and expounds the current research trends in the field of solar photovoltaic power generation. It summarizes and compares the different technologies of active cooling and passive cooling, and summarizes the latest progress of solar simulator.According to the experimental environment requirements of photovoltaic generation experiment and the international standard test condition(STC)of terrestrial photovoltaic panel, the second part designed and built a solar simulator suitable for photovoltaic generation experiment. On the effective surface of 2m*2m,the light intensity is adjustable in the range of 600-1100W/m~2,the optical homogeneity reaches C level(+5%),and the optical instability reaches the performance requirement of class A(+2%).It lays the foundation for the follow-up test.In the third part, the cooling experiment of photovoltaic panels is carried out.The authors designed a cooling coil, used to attach on the back side of the solar photovoltaic panels.Under the radiation intensity of light irradiation of 800W/m~2 and 1000 W/m~2,the cooling photovoltaic panels are cooled by 16 degrees centigrade around, and the overall photoelectric conversion of panels is increased by about 2%.The experimental state is stable, and the change effect of power generation is obvious.Assuming that a PV panel works 8 hours a day,the cumulative daily power generation increase up to more than 20%.The experimental research in this paper shows that the surface temperature of photovoltaic panels has a great influence on its power generation. The cooling system can reduce the power consumption, resulting in a significant increase in power generation. It is a useful attempt to provide solar photovoltaic power generation. |
