The Research Of Urban Public Space Artificial Waterscape Designed In North Of China

Water is one of essentials to human life and the base of human civilization's origination and development. Because of Water's varies characters, people are willing to participate and admire it everywhere. The feasible waterscape design becomes extremely important element in the landscape, space of architecture, landscape design of city and etc. Face to the global warming, there are uneven distribution of water resources in different regions and cities, particularly in the north of the city where exists a large number of the waterscape. How to make full use of waterscape and create the good landscape environment and to not waste water resource at the same time, how to make use of recycling and sustainable development and not to display the natural water's especially character, all these problems are what we try to figure out and do research with the waterscape's form design.Firstly, the article has described the concept of artificial waterscape in the urban public space. Then it takes north city's artificial waterscape as starting point, analysis waterscape characters and types, Also it has summed up the existing significance and effect and development of waterscape in the urban public space, which to be established the thesis foundation. Secondly, through the investigation of the north city public space artificial waterscape's development condition, I unified the example of north the urban waterscape and analysis the extant question and the reason, unified the situation of northern area climate character and the lack of water, carried on the integrity exploration and the research to the north city public space waterscape design, brought the solution that based on the north city's environment space, the region climate, the water resources use proposes, summarized the one of overall environment design method, including the humanist design and the ecology waterscape design. This deign frame of waterscape is the sustainable use and development. Finally, by the example of carrying on the design method that has been practiced and applied,I bring the feasible improvement and suggestion.The reasonable science plan of earlier stage is good for design of landscape of later stage which will combine the environment, ecology and human together. Think about that north region's condition of water resource, the best plan of design has to include landscape environment need, ecology saving water resource and sustainable use and development. This thesis has provided the standard theory of waterscape and reference, especially to the north characteristic waterscape.
