Discusion On The Practice Of City Park' Waterscape In The Harmonious Ecology

Modern city' park originates from ancient gardens, while the development of ancient gardens attributes to many historic factors. With the comprehensive development of economy, politics, culture, all kinds of gardens came out. The modern designers not only succeed to the design element of ancient gardens, but also apply the principle of modern landscape design to handle the element and function design of the modern park.. Especially designers pay attention to constructing the harmonical atmosphere between a park and its surrounding, and emphasizes the harmonica arrangement of landscape element in the park such as water, architecture, landscape sketch, plant, pavement.The article firstly analyzes the concept of "the park " and depicts the historic evolvement of ancient gardens. The article shows the demand of harmony and zoology for the design of modern park. The article, stressing on waterscape design, concludes that modern designers attach importance to the harmonica arrangement of design element, the ecological combination between natural being and material. The common thesis of modern designers is how to integrate all kinds of landscape design element into the whole such as water, architecture, landscape sketch, plant, pavement, and how to construct harmonica and ecological resort. Second part of the article analyzes the four spontaneous factors—hill stone, architecture, plant, landscape sketch, and discusses the function and constructing form.By practicing the idea of waterscape in the harmonious ecology, the article gives some suggestions to reconstructing the Eastern Lake Park of Chengdu.
