Study On City Square In Waterscape Utilization In Our Country

This article begins with the history background of the square waterscape in our countries. Through analyzing, we summarized the traditional design techniques of square waterscape in our country and certain water management principles. Comparing the traditional design idea and element with those of nowadays, we macroscopically put forward the evaluation criteria which can be used as a guide for some cases. Restricted by some essential factors as region, economy, science and technology and urban development, the square waterscape design in our country must follow certain principles that are advantageous to better developing the square waterscape design. By analyzing the cases, we prospect the future of Chinese square waterscape, looking forward to a reasonable road for square waterscape design.
