| Mount Zhongnan,also called taiyi mountain, in the QinLing of southern Xi'an, which with many scenic spots enjoys a fame of the "No.1 blessed place in China","fairy place"and "first Fairyland ". It is also one of the cradles of the Daoism. Juncture in ancient times, and a place of deep cultural significance. Currently, with the vigorous development of the rural tourism, Mount Zhongnan has become a good place for a short holiday and leisure time relying the advantage of close distance from Xi'an, rich traveling resources, and good ecological environment.With the further development of rural tourism , the defect in Mount Zhongnan such as too much similar programs, lack of characteristics, low level in reception and imperfect in supporting facilities are more and more clear. There were even serious damage to natural ecological environment due to the lack of unified planning, loss of regional culture due to slavishly following urbanization. Which reflect to the Zhongnan mount tourism image,it is not outstanding in local features, distorted in landscape image,this will reduce the attraction of rural tourism. We have a bottle-neck in development.To solve these problems. This paper based on the study of related theory and means of domestic and abroad, and investigation on landscape image of zhongnan mount, make an empirical analysis of environment creation of public space. Following the course of development of rural tourism, to approach the new thinking and method of the landscape image positioning and space construction, creating the new landscape image possess Xi'an flavours,improved function and beautiful surroundings. All together, I hope the construction strategy proposed initiatively which provided from a deep insight of the present situation of mountain landscape, could give theoretical reference for regional landscape design, and provide useful lessons for the successive rural tourism environment image construction.
