With more complicated of System function and structure continuously increase of intersystem interaction; it is more attention that is taken into common cause failure. Zonal Safety Analysis which is an important method of common cause failure. Since zonal safety analysis is lack of practical experience in china, key technology of zonal safety analysis is studied.Further detailed principle and specific requirement of zone division, to improve traditional process of zonal safety analysis and increase project feasibility. The ZSA process is studied. The principle and specific requirements of dividing the zone is presented. Specific and definite process of ZSA is established, which makes the method more practicable.On the base of analyzing typical risk resources in each zone, the identification method of zone risk resources is given; Moreover, the model of zone safety assessment is put forward in view of FMEA, risk assessment matrix and board number rule which provides an basis for setting the guidelines.According to airworthiness'requirements and the experience of operation, the quantitative evaluation method of each criterion is proposed by the means of the installation between system and equipment, material compatibility and interference of systems checklist. In terms of fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making theory, the comprehensive zonal safety analysis evaluation model of aircraft is established based on fuzzy theory and multiple attribute decision making method. With a ZSA example in the zone of electrical and electronic devices cabin, we illustrated the effectiveness of the model.Based on the above research work, main landing gear cabin of some aircraft is analyzed detailedly and systematically in this paper. Complete examples of project application of zonal safety analysis are presented, and it provides the guideline of research and production.
