With the development of industry, it is demanded that the hydraulic transmission and control systems should have higher performance and control precision. Using computer simulation technology, the performance of systems can be forecasted, the design cycle can be shorten, and the whole system can be analyzed and evaluated. So the purposes of optimizing system, shorting design cycle and improving the stability of system can be achieved.An airplane's hydraulic system is composed of different parts including the hydraulic pressure source system, brake system, landing gear retract and extend system, flight control system, weapon bay door system and other sub-function systems. The thesis is on the principal, components, and the functions of the weapon bay door hydraulic system. In the thesis, the focus is on the design procedure. It is referred that hydraulic basic principles, characteristics, design methods, and hydraulic simulation, etc.The features, function and modeling principle of AMESim are introduced briefly. And a simulation model of axial piston pump was established based on the structure in AMESim, analyzing the pressure and flow rate characteristics. The system's hydraulic pressure model is established on the basis of the airplane weapon bay door system using the software. The parameter establishment, dynamic simulation and the simulation analysis are conducted to get the system flow rate, pressure and displacement of piston rod. Integrating the requests of designing and the simulation data, the final conclusion is drawn with the result of the contrastive analysis of the simulation to optimize the design.
