Preliminary Study On Theory And Practice About The Planning Design Of City Cultural Center Area

With the development of society, raising the level of science and technology, the Chinese economy began to take off, and integration with the world economy. In the context of global economic integration, people's living standard has been greatly improved, with the material basis for the pursuit of higher spiritual life, and this time when urban cultural centers as the core of the cultural life of urban residents gathering areas, it is paid more and more attention and concern by people. From the evolution of the overall functional structure of cities, cultural center area is the core areas of the urban structure and the important component part of urban functions, the concentration of the city public buildings and the tertiary industry, the most sensitive areas of reflecting the urban social and cultural development. The city cultural center's features is also bound to adapt to and subject to the requirements of the city itself and the development needs of urban areas of radiation. in different historical periods, urban cultural centers have different functional forms and spatial patterns.In this paper, based on elaborating the cultural center concepts, I had analyzed the excellent cases of the cultural center area at home and abroad, and summarized the successful experience, then established a theoretical system for the planning design of the cultural center area. At the same time, on a detailed analysis of actual projects, thus I had improved the principles and practice strategies of the cultural center area planning design, attempted to the green-oriented and viable design methods of the city cultural center area what meet the requirements of people's cultural activities and has the harmonious and beautiful visual landscape. I hope that provide reference for the future design of city cultural center area.The paper has been divided into three parts: Pose the question - Analyze the question - Solve the question.The first part is basic research, this part carries out a concise explanation of the research background, research objectives and significance, research contents, research methods and frameworks, and carries out the theoretical summary for the concept, types and functions of the cultural center area.The second part is a systematic analysis and theoretical exploration, including analysis for development process and successful cases of the domestic and overseas urban cultural center area, and explorations for the theory of planning design in the city cultural center area. It systematically describes the foreign and domestic cultural center's formation and development process, analyzes and evaluates the domestic and foreign outstanding cases, researches the current problems in the construction of city cultural center area, and puts forward the corresponding solution. Through the study and induction of theories of urban culture center area, the paper proposed the concept which makes "place - context" approach applied to the design of cultural center area, and summed up the planning design theories'key points of the cultural center area, provided references for the cultural center area'building in the future.The third part is design exploration. Using the design ideas and methods of cultural center area educed from the theory exploration as references to direct the planning design of Laiwu Cultural Center. Through in-depth analysis of the city's history and culture, I establish contact between context and place, the design goals and the whole design ideas. After on-site researching and current situation analyzing, I divide the cultural center into various functions zones. According to the planning design ideas of cultural center area, the author puts forward the strategies for inside and outside transport systems design, landscape system design, and architectural design of the Laiwu Cultural Center Area.
