| With the development of commodity economy,commercial space has increasingly become the closest urban environment to citizens.In terms of function,in addition to mainly undertaking commodity transactions,the commercial complex continues to show the functional characteristics of urban publicity,cultural aggregation,life integration,public leisure and so on.The outdoor public space of commercial complex is one of the main carriers to undertake this part of functions.However,due to the short design and construction cycle,most commercial project development is finally presented to users through standardized strategies or insufficient design integrity.This situation makes the designed commercial external environment either too branded,highly copied and transplanted,resulting in an external space form of thousands of cities,or an outdoor public space with uneven quality and insufficient matching with the urban environment and people’s needs.Due to the relatively low development threshold of large-scale commercial comprehensive projects in second tier and below cities in China,this phenomenon is more prominent.As the testing ground for many star projects of commercial complexes,first tier cities have shown us a lot of mature development experience.However,they cannot be directly diverted to non first tier cities and non landmark commercial development projects.This paper will focus on the outdoor public space of commercial complex in Nanning,a typical second tier city.Under the unique regional environment and characteristic urban cultural life background of Nanning,based on the integration of commerciality and public activity of external public space,this paper explores the design of outdoor public space of commercial complex that meets the development level of all levels and can balance commerciality and regional needs.This paper is mainly divided into five parts: the first chapter expounds the research background,significance,research object and content,as well as the research method and framework of the paper.The second chapter,through a large number of regional literature,arranges and summarizes the regional cultural elements,climate and environment elements and regional daily life characteristics related to Nanning commercial outdoor public space.By studying the development of commercial and public space in Nanning,we can explore various design elements belonging to the region.The third chapter sorts out and classifies the overall positioning,format distribution and spatial organization types of the existing Nanning commercial complex,finds the problems existing in the design,implementation and operation by comparing the actual application effects,and puts forward the design principles for Nanning: serving the reality of commercial development,focusing on peopleoriented needs,adapting to the climate and terrain of Nanning Rooted in Nanning context.The fourth,fifth and sixth chapters explore the specific design techniques from shallow to deep,and apply the proposed design techniques through specific design practice and transformation strategies. |
