As one kind of environment for virtual test, light transmitting environment is the battleground and tactical environment of the laser and infrared transmitting in virtual test such as Electro-Optical Countermeasures (EOCM). And it has an important impact in the effect of EOCM virtual test and the scientific evaluation to the weapon system's efficiency in the test.The thesis analyzes the basic concepts and features of light transmitting environment, and builds the referenced model of the environment, then researches the modeling method of the data resources and light transmitting effect specially. And based on this, the thesis designs the environment model's frame and structure, then analyzes and design key issues, such as the calculations of light transmitting, the supporting service interface environment, the process of building and applying of environment database, the simulating process of light transmitting and so on. At the same time the thesis analyzes the method of building light transmitting environment member in the various test architecture.Based on the model and structure of light transmitting environment, and applying the thought of OO (Object Oriented) and the description method of UML, the general supporting software for light transmitting environment and the simulating entity software of light transmitting basing HIT-GPTA and the middleware of environment applying, are analyzed and designed. It can be used to build the light transmitting environment for virtual test. At last, the software is developed, and tested by the example of laser detecting and warning virtual test.In practice, the model and software can fulfill the requirements of the EOCM virtual test system, and provide strong support of more scientific and reasonable evaluation of virtual test effect.
