With the expansion of the power system, system interconnection and power market make the behavior of power system more complex and the operating point more close to the security and stability boundaries. Therefore, security and stability problems can easily occur. Through analysis a set of hypothetical accident, to a certain extent, can prevent the operation of large-scale security incidents. Based on data of load forecasting and power plan, stable security check ensure the grid operation security and reliability under the principle of n-1. If the bus is over-voltage and branch current or transformer overload, the current power plan is required for amendments up to meet the requirements, load shedding can be operated if necessary.With the development of computer technology and visualization technology in electric power system, the result security check can be vividly described by the visualization techniques. Also power system operators can get a high efficiency and can avoid some mistakes in the daily operation with the help of good visualization techniques.In the Online Safety Check research, the accuracy of load forecasting largely determines the accuracy of the security check result of the of the correctness of the accident, and will affect the dispatch plan adjustments and units open-stop scheduling suggestions, while the more serious errors will result in load shedding. With further development of the electricity market, the modern short-term load forecasting precision and accuracy requirements become stricter.This paper is based on the Tianjin Electric Power Company "Tianjin Power Company Power System Dispatch and Communication Center comprehensive analysis of online security visualization system" research project.With the existing E-format data, load forecast and power generation plans, this paper utilizes Power System Online Security Assessment and Visualization and flow analysis tools to complete online security check function module based on plug-in framework. All the functions have been successfully integrated into the system, and now are applying in the online environment.
