Urban distribution system located at the end of power system. It is an importantbasic facility of a city, which is connected with users directly. Designing and planningfor distribution systems have drawn more and more attentions. The choice of connectionmodes plays an important role to the whole of distribution system plannings. Variousconnection modes can reflect economy and reliability of distribution systems directly. Sothe indentfication and analysis on connection mode of distribution system have importantsignificance. This paper has studied and implemented the methods of indentification andanalysis on connection modes of high voltage and medium voltage distribution systemsMain works are as follows:Firstly, on the base of original analysis module on connection mode in urbannetwork planning decision support system(CNP40), this paper perfects the methods ofindentification and analysis on connection mode, groups distribution network inmedium voltage,devides the network into several connection mode groups,extractedthe character of each group in order to get feature expression, and identified theconnection mode of medium voltage distribution systems using the measure of patternrecognition of statistical decisions sciense.Secondly, based on the above theory, this paper develops load station'sconnection mode analysis function of high voltage and medium voltage distributionnetworks, hierarchical identification function of cable network with switching stationsand depth analysis function on the indentification results of the connection mode. Thenew developed software system can indentify and analysis connection modes of highvoltage and medium voltage distribution systems automatically from the viewpointsof power supply, grid and load. The result is more complete and visual that it's easytoget evaluation conclusion of distribution network of connection configuration and tofind the weakness taches.Finally, based on the characters of distribution network that having complexconfiguration, owning vast data and changing frequently, in order to increase thespeed of connection mode analysis, this paper has improved the calculation efficiencyby enlarging local calculation ability, using indentifacation method based on feederpartitions of distribution network and optimizing transfer mechanism of connection mode arithmetic,Which improve the calculation efficiency largely.This paper tests thearithmetic by practical examples, the test result has shown that the capability ofoptimized arithmetic have improved,whole network calculation gets 60%speed-raising and local calculation gets 80% speed-raising,the effect of localcalculation speed-raising is relatively obvious,especially for the large scale ofnetwork.
