| located in the southeastern of Eurasian plate-the biggest plate, and the West shore of Pacific Ocean-the largest marine, China, which most of the territory in the north latitude 30°to latitude 45°, belongs to the world's most typical continental climate with four distinctive seasons and considerable annual and daily range of temperature. In response to these unfavorable factors, construction should take the initiative to respond to changing climate and environment, and thus architectural design variable is particularly important in China.Hot summer and cold winter zone in China is one of the harsh climate regions compared with the same latitude, it is charectered as the highest density of human settlements,fastest economic development and infrastructure region. Therefore, the study of residential variable of this zone is particular significance.For more use of natural climate, to achieve a healthy, comfortable, energy-saving purpose, considering the climate conditions in hot summer and cold winter zones in China, the paper proposed the concept of residential variable skin, and research on retractable skin of variable skin. The article is divided into 4 main parts, primarily analyzing the study purpose of residential variable skins, and its origin and meaning. Then it focuses on the theory of variable building and variable skin, and finally through the technology theory and proposed technology solutions, providing a theoretical basis for the appearance of residential retractable skins.Through this study, we expect to make further improvement of variable architectural theory, and provide a health, energy saving, comfortable living environment for the residents through emergence of retractable skin of residential building. |
