With the rapid development of expressways, expressway service areas as the necessary ancillary services are more and more concerned by the people. And its problems are also paid more people's attention. How to make the service area adapt to the weather which is hot in summer and cold in winter, is this thesis concerned. The study of this thesis in hot-summer and cold-winter zone is on the basis of theoretical studies of ecology design, and take Songhe service area for an example. Then abstract the design strategy, and use this strategy in the design of project. In the course of the study, first of all, investigates the domestic expressway service, then analyze the landscape planning, architectures, structures, building materials and construction equipment deficiencies, propose a plan to improve expressway services for the design and the views of Enlightenment.Secondly, aiming directly at Songhe service's climatic conditions, terrain conditions and geographical status of resources research, propose a targeted strategy. Through the analysis and study, draw the basic design elements for the Songhe service. Finally, applying these strategies to the specific design derives the service's landscape planning, architectural design and construction details. In the process, the author uses the DOE-2 building energy simulation software for the simulation of different body form of energy. Use PHOENICS fluid simulation software for the construction of different body form ventilated outdoor simulation. Then feedback the results of the simulation in the design, optimize the design. In conclusion, the research recognizing the various impacts of ecological factors, embodying the complexity of ecology design, provides an evaluation method, as well as a series of conclusions focusing on the expressway service areas'design on Hot-summer and cold-winter Zone.
