| Solar simulator is such an equipment that lamp light is used for simulating sunlight. In order to adapt to the solar cells industry, it's very necessary to design steady state solar simulator, especially large areas of steady-state simulator. Steady state solar simulator is mainly used in component performance testing and thermal cycling test in the laboratory. In this paper we developed a large area steady solar simulator Based on the testing requirements of space satellite cell testing. And then we discussed optical design of steady solar simulator with long-arc xenon and optical integrator.The content of this paper can be divided to 3 parts:(1) Solar simulator technology, its light source and optical system structure in Chapter 2 and part of Chapter 3;(2) Steady solar simulator's optical design, simulation and optimization in optical software, and the debug and testing of the product in Chapter 4;(3) Optical design and optimization of solar simulator was discussed in Chapter 5; In the first part, we mainly introduced the solar cell Testing Technique, solar simulator technology and the basic irradiance theory. we investigated the common light source and optical structure used in solar simulator, and we made a comparison for the best choice. At last we introduced the optical design software.In the second part, we mainly designed a light collector system and optical system structure of solar simulator, made some simulation and optimization design in optical software, through debugged and tested we obtain a large area steady solar simulator up to the standard at last. In the third part we designed a optical structure used long-arc xenon and optical integrator base on the advantage of long-arc xenon, and we achieved a solar simulator with A class in non-uniformity during a certain irradiance area.The contributions of the paper are that proposing some new methods to design steady solar simulators with lower cost, and designing some commercial products successfully. |
