Chromatography has been widely used in various fields such as scientific research and social production due to its high efficiency, high speed and separation accuracy.But most of them are dependent upon importation from foreign countries.Although its performances are excellent, they are expensive and difficult to use and maintenance, so it is difficult to meet the needs of enterprises and research institutes.the domestic market is currently lack of some chromatography with high performance-to-price ratio,easy to use,upgrade and maintenance.This paper have made some summaries of chromatography applications and its advantages and then, introduced its development trends at domestic and abroad, as well as the module structure and function of current commonly used chromatography. Subsequently, this paper's objective is described, that is, completing mechanical design and control system design of chromatography except for high-pressure pump. The subject first completed the mechanical part of the chromatography, including CMM machines, injection pumps and chassis design. On the mechanical platform, motor drive plate, valve control panel, CAN transceiver, the main control board of the relevant circuit was built. Finally, the corresponding control system applications programmed for the purpose of controlling the operation of each part. After offline and online testing systematically, each functional module of the chromatography can complete the entire work flow.Compared with certain control systems of some related products in domestic market, this paper uses the CAN network to build communication networks between devices, which have advantages of reliable and fast communication, less wiring and easy upgrade. At same time the paper also uses Cortex-M3-based STM as the main controller, which have powerful function and cheaper prices. The main controller has been implanted operation system of RT-Thread andμCOS which can achieve more complicated functions. Two LCD touch screens and GUI of Microchip Corporation is added to make the man-machine interface more beautiful and friendly. File system ofFATFS and JPEG, BMP and TXT files decoding process were mounted in the operation system, with which it can browse, edit all supporting content of format stored in SD card through the touch screen. The fault diagnosis system function adds in the system in case of failure to preserve relevant information into the SD card, which provided for the users and maintainers more convenient.
