With the rapid development of further increases in the level of industrialization, high temperature, high pressure, high-speed working conditions of the mechanical seal temperature is too high, resulting in abnormal wear of sealing ring, thermal cracking, deformation and the end of vaporization and other issues between the media , resulting in seal to fail, the traditional sealing methods and related manufacturing technologies very difficult to meet the sealing industry. Therefore, the seal forms and Manufacturing Technology is very important, it directly determines the level of sealing performance and quality. In recent years, emerging as the seals - the upstream pumping mechanical seal, it has less wear and tear, heat, long life, lower energy consumption, especially for high-parameter, the volatile, high risk and high polluting highly difficult sealed occasions, and has broad prospects for development. In order to achieve high quality and reliable sealing effect, often require the upstream pumping mechanical seal ring out of the fluid dynamic pressure groove(usually several to ten microns). Technical requirements for processing the high slot, so the method is a reliable process to ensure that the sealing performance of the key technologies.Currently, the upstream pumping mechanical seal fluid dynamic pressure groove processing method mainly in the field of special processing, such as chemical etching processing, laser processing. These methods are used to remove material processing methods to process the fluid dynamic pressure groove, and difficult to machine the surface roughness of the mirror surface and higher than the bottom depth of the groove depth, etc., hinder the quality of the upstream pumping mechanical seal further increase, so the research development of efficient, high-quality, low cost upstream pumping mechanical seal fluid dynamic pressure groove processing technology has a very important technical and economic significance.This article first upstream pumping mechanical seal for the overall design, focus on this basis, the design of the seal groove, the groove be optimized, and then using PRO/ E software modeling, are three-dimensional model; then to study the related processing technology , access to processing of material properties, for the following dynamic pressure groove laid the material foundation deformation processing; Finally, the analysis of design and processing technology on the basis of processing the physical model. This paper focuses on analysis of the dynamic pressure groove processing technology, especially in the inventive manufacturing process, first proposed the use of nano materials manufacturing methods to increase processing upstream pumping mechanical seal fluid dynamic pressure groove of new ideas, to be effective in slotting technique to avoid some of the existing shortcomings, and for other research and development of new mechanical seal to provide reliable manufacturing process.
