According to the results of the research on national students'physical health in 2004, the rate of nearsightedness among middle and primary students in China was on the rise compared to 2000, worse in the metropolitan students. The luminous environment quality of schoolrooms has direct influence on the effect of visual task of the teachers and students; good luminous environment can improve the learning efficiency and reduce the visual fatigue to protect the vision of the juvenile students. It is an important stage for the middle and primary students, especially the primary students to cultivate the habit of using eyes in right way. The scientifically rational luminous environment designed has great significance for their visual protection. But the specific research of the investigation and estimation of the luminous environment quality of middle and primary schoolrooms have not taken at home and abroad for a long time. Targeting at this situation, combining with the results of the field investigation of some middle and primary schoolrooms in Chongqing, this article established an integrated evaluation model of luminous environment. Based on consulting a large number of materials and literatures about indoor luminous environment design at home and abroad, some reform suggestions for the luminous environment design of middle and primary schoolrooms were proposed in this paper. The main research emphasizes are as follows:â‘ According to the results of the field investigation in the twenty-five schoolrooms of ten middle and primary schools in Chongqing, combining with the results of data analysis and basing on the present government standard, this paper investigated the luminous environment situation of some middle and primary school. The results show that the problems of the daylighting and the lighting for blackboard are very serious in these schools, and artificial illumination situation is not so ideal, which is far from the requirements of the present government standard.â‘¡Ten evaluation indexes of the integrated evaluation system were determined by using fuzzy mathematics and questionnaire survey, and the weight of evaluation indexes was determined by using the analytic hierarchy process, finally this paper established the integrated evaluation model of the luminous environment quality of the middle and primary schoolrooms. Using the model to analyze the luminous environment quality of two typical schoolrooms in the field investigated. Verified the feasibility of the model by using the expert grade method the result shows that the model can judge the eligibility of the luminous environment quality, and also can compare the superiority-inferiority between the design proposals of the luminous environment.â‘¢Based on the current situation and the problems of luminous environment existed in the middle and primary schoolrooms, this paper proposed some design ideas and suggestions to the illumination engineers for the reform of the current state of natural lighting, illumination of desktop, uniformity ratio of illuminance, illumination of blackboard and glare,by synthesizing a large number of materials, combining with the site survey data and observation analysis.Using the DIALux lighting simulation software to simulate and analyze the artificial lighting reconstruction scheme in one school, verified the feasibility of the suggestion and finally determining the best scheme.This paper analyzed the luminous environment in the middle and primary schoolrooms, and the integrated evaluation model which established in this paper provides method and basis for judgment of the luminous environment eligibility and the evaluation of the effect of luminous environment reconstruction in schoolrooms. The suggestions have certain reference value for the construction and reconstruction in the future.
