Reverse engineering is one of the important ways to design product development and innovation.The 3D modeling technology based on digital photos (image-based modeling) is the rapid development based on computer graphics and the important research direction in recent years, Also important research fields of computer vision. The 3D modeling technology based on digital photos is through the different Angle of two-dimensional digital photos to rebuild the object three-dimensional models.This paper around the reverse engineering based on two-dimensional digital photos of the 3D model to reconstruct object launched this technology, and with the use of Imagemodeler software, 3DMax software, Zbrush software, Pro/E software to finish the modeling work. This paper structure can be divided into reverse engineering introduction and application field, digital camera calibration, feature point stereo matching, 3D mesh model reconstruction, model details to design and optimization five apart.In digital camera calibration part constructs linear digital camera mathematical model and mathematical model of nonlinear digital camera, Digital camera calibration is actually determine filming location camera, ernal and external parameters and constructing imaging model. Based on the analysis of the two cameras model, Finally built the stability and precision localization of target model, The model considers the distortion produced on camera calibration error, Finally using Imagemodeler and TSai two-step of nonlinear camera calibration out external and internal parameters of model parameters.In the three-dimensional matching feature point is mainly studied the basic algorith -m and foundation three-dimensional matching the matching constraint; In 3D point reconstruction, Analyzed the common points 3D reconstruction algorithm, And according to the points 3D reconstruction algorithm realized with feature points, 3D reconstruction, The 3D characteristics of calibration get little cloud pretreatment, Finally use imagemodeler to complete the true art statue 3D mesh model.The statue of art in details the modified model, Based on the superiority of the sculpture software contrast Identified using Zbrush software to detail modification and then design.The integrated use a Zbrush software Move,Starderd,Inflat,Layer,Smooth, serious, such as Layer brush to complete the art of engraving statue head details; The final art statue substantiate model, and for the manufacture of late provides digital model.This paper on the above through experiment and examples of the technological process and the algorithm of verification, effectively, and actually finished art statue model reconstruction; Finally on subsequent work puts forward Suggestions and prospected.
