Flat plate of construction metal structure is widely used in building envelope,which exhibit features of rich modeling,graceful appearance,high quality of project and so on. Currently, there exist large number problems in design and analysis for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure,such as high individual needs, frequent changes in technological codes, inefficient design, heavy workload of repeat, serious waste of raw materials. Based on the features of flat plate of cnstruction metal structure and the study of the finite element analysis system for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure and its core technologies, a finite element analysis system for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure is developed.First, based on the analysis of finite element analysis system available for structure design and analysis, with Auto CAD as the graphics-processing platform, a 4-layer software architecture general scheme for a finite element analysis system for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure is put forward, which aims at the structure characteristics and design needs of flat plate of cnstruction metal structure.Second, this paper studies the core technologies involved in the implementation of finite element analysis system for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure, such as finite element mesh adaptive generation, graphic database and parametric modeling design.Based on the geometric features and topological characteristics of engineering model of flat plate, a method of generating adaptive finite element mesh has been introudced.To meet the individual demands of users and the needs of improving the efficiency of application pre-treatment, a method for generating adaptive mesh based on mechanical information is presented.Then, based on the feature of engineering model of flat plate of cnstruction metal structure and object-oriented programming method,a graphic database of the finite element analysis system for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure is constructed,which supports modeling,model edtion, finite element analysis and calculation,optimization,model check and calculations output.Based on the feature analysis of the engineering model for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure, this paper summarizes the fundamental principles of engineering modeling,which improve the efficiency of the pre-treatment of system.At last, based on the above studies, the finite element analysis system for flat plate of cnstruction metal structure is developed,with Auto CAD as the graphics-processing platform. The system is characterized by friendly operation interface, convenient operation and powerful post-processing.
