Operational Research On Citystyle Controlling: In Baoji's Case

With the process of globalization is accelerating, the city which is the vector of Material culture has been affected by External factors more and more and has leaded to the character of the cities become more and more indistinguishable.In this circumstances,people gradually aware of the importance of the citystyle which is formed long and take very important part in maintaining the unique existence of the city in the torrent of globalization. In this trend, city style planning come to being.From to point of view on the actual situation of current urban construction domestically, as the result of the lack of the guide in city style construction, the problem of the city construction become more serious every day. Under this case, a solution is in urgent need which is able to express the internal connection of the variety of theories, to control the city environment effectively ,to instruct the construction practice of the city style. Take on the establishment of the city style planning ,the whole industry has not drafted a unified standard or model because of the process of the theory is far behind the one of the city style construction. On the other side, as the form of the planning and the way of controlling seem to be powerless, the city style construction has carried out difficultly. The focus of the paper is explore the city style construction technology roadmap which face on the implementation in order to control the city style construction effectively and lead the practice of the city style construction .Aim at the fact that city style planning is difficult to implement, this paper try to stabilize the urban space which cover the whole district of the city disorderly into the orderly"style controlling unit";draw the concept of gene which derived from biology to confirm the"style gene sequence"of every controlling unit which has corresponding"style property", finally, based on the"style property"of specific controlling unit and take appropriate"style controlling unit"draft the guideline of the style controlling. This paper elaborate the main content through 4 part:Part I: through the research of the city style problem domestically in recent years, come to an conclusion that to shape the ideal city style is the approach to face the challenge in which domestic city style is become convergence in the process of globalization. In this part, an important conclusion is drew through the research of city style controlling theory, the analysis of the chaos in the city style controlling and the study on Baoji s case. The conclusion is that——to form a suit of systematic methods which can reflect the various theory and internal relations, to control the whole city style effectively is in an urgent need in city scope construction .Part II: To research on the"style controlling unit".The"style controlling unit"mentioned above is not only the vector of the city style planning implement, but it is also a new special study on the field. This part learn the way of dividing planning and manage unit which aim to control the construction capacity of the city in the moderate range at home and abroad to confirm the principles,meaning and the scale of the dividing of the"style controlling unit".Part III: According to studies concerned at home and abroad, confirm the background of urban style, objects displayed by style, the dominant culture and way of life, the genes in this Four major categories is the whole factor which affect the formation of urban style, relatively, The definition of genes in second class are based on different characteristics of the city' style. In this paper, take Baoji for example, Four major categories and 18 second classes are confirmed, moreover, 343"style controlling unit"is defined by considering into the urban land which correspond to specific gene and consulting to the principle which mean to classify"style unit". In this part, the paper display the city style controlling and management through the angle of"style unit"in the form of"style controlling unit", lastly, make the"style gene sequence"as the basis of formulating foundation.Part IV: This section identifies the style location,style controlling essential,overall space pattern control,building pattern control and environmental facilities control as the 5 main style controlling factor.
