Taking the loess in Xi'an as example, the dynamic mechanics, basic mechanics and theflow characteristics have developed on research. The cyclic triaxial tests, unconfinedcompressive tests, ring tension tests, double punch tests, uniaxial punch tests, and uniaxialcreep tests are conducted with remolded loess under different water content and different drydensity. Based on the tests results, the resilient modulus, permanent deformation, criticaldynamic stress, basic mechanical properties parameters (including compressive strength,tensile strength, and shearing strength), and the creep property of loess in Xi'an are conductedsystematical research. This research work has the important theory and practice significanceto each kind of Geotechnical engineering design in loess area.The main research achievements include:(1) Through the research on cyclic triaxial tests, the relational curves of resilient moduluswith deviation stress of undisturbed loess and remolded loess can be obtained; constitutive itsequation expressions. Through the permanent deformation tests, the permanent deformationcurves and critical dynamic stress lever of remolded loess can be obtained. Compared theresilient modulus of undisturbed loess with those of remolded loess, and compared the changerule of these two kinds of resilient modulus with the water content.(2) Using different methods to determine the basic mechanical properties parameters ofremolded loess, including compressive strength, tensile strength, and shearing strength.Contrast the determination results of each method, and analyze the serviceability of eachmethod to determine the basic mechanical properties parameters of remolded loess. Thechange rules of basic mechanical properties parameters with dry weight density and watercontent are discussed. (3) Through the research on uniaxial creep tests, the creep curve and stress-straintautochrone of remolded loess can be obtained. Use Burgers model to study it, and useOrigin7.5 software's misalignment fitting function to predict the creep equation and PRONYprogression equation of the model, and analyze the influence of the model parameters.
