The Chinese culture has not only a long and splendid history,but also extensive national characteristics. Differentprovinces or regions present variant cultural inheritance.Service industry is the window to show national culture. Inorder to inherit and develop traditional national culture,developing the tertiary industry, especially the tourism hasbecome a pressing task. During the process of product designing,stimulated by the various regional cultural factors with ethniccharacteristics, designers always insert these culturalelements into design. It can not only reflect the uniquenessof product, and also claim the national cultural connotationof this area.Starting from Guizhou’s traditional culture, throughextracting elements such as yao’s barn, modelling element ofdong and other ethnic elements, combined with the designer’srich cultural accumulation and artistic accomplishment, thispaper will design tourist souvenirs with great originality--creative tableware. Follow the design concept such as"people-oriented"," the purpose of design is not the product" and " following the natural and objective laws to design ", the innovation of tableware will focuses on three aspects: theproduct modeling, material and additional function, so as todesign a high quality tourism products to meet market demand.
